Kaylee, I thought that you did a great job in your presentation. You presented your film in a way that it makes me we want to watch it now, especially when you showed us that scene from the film. I also liked how broke down each element and how you clearly explained each aspect, relating the film to both classic and neo-noir. I also liked your example of the frog and scorpion story and how you related it with the protagonist’s nature. Once again, great job.
ReplyDeleteI Thought you did an awesome job summarizing the film,I have actually never seen this film. I think I will watch it now, after your sneak peak elevator scene im hooked. This was a film I had heard of but did not think it was noir until you pointed out the bad and good in driver. Job well done!
ReplyDeleteKaylee I really liked your presentation on Drive. Even though I have already seen this movie, I didn't consider this movie to be considered film noir or neo noir until we took English 101 and until your presentation. I really liked how you explained how the Driver fits into Classic noir and neo noir. How he is questioning himself if he is good or bad.. Nice job!
